Western Black-headed Snake - Tantilla Planiceps - A tiny eater of centipedes, whose venom it is apparently immune to. I have no love for centipedes, and so I like this snake very much. About the size of a worm, they are very difficult to photograph and easy to lose when they wriggle into the grass and dirt.
